Japanese Sencha Matcha

I was looking for a healthier way to get energy other than coffee with lots of sugar and cream. To me surprise after drinking one cup of the kubo Japanese Matcha Tea I was more than amazed at the natural energy the caffeine gave me for hours and love the taste as well. I think the price is equal to the quality

This tea is great! The flavor is excellent, and it really gives you a boost of energy from the extra caffeine. I also love that it is organic and comes in a compostable bag. I would love to try more flavors!

I think the name for the flavour is umami.It’s good stuff, super mild flavor w a high caffeine kick, I dig it. Works really well hot and goes down smooth.One bag is good for a whole day, so ya def get your money’s worth out of it

I love a good green tea so the Kubo Tea Japanese Sencha Matcha Tea has been a nice find. I like that the bag is resealable, the ingredients are simple and organic, and the flavor is pleasant. I would recommend this product to others.

So if you want a decent green tea but with more of a kick, then this might be the solution for you. It has a nice mild and smooth flavor, and I detected no bitterness or harshness in it. The caffeine itself doesn't smack you like too much coffee might, but has a more gradual and subtle effect, which is more typical of tea. Overall great if you're a tea drinker and just looking for something organic with extra caffeine without having to resort to drinking more cups or swapping over to coffee, or maybe you're a coffee drinker and want a midday pick-me-up with more of the gradual onset of tea or an afternoon tea is just your thing. Regardless of the reason, if tea with extra caffeine is what you seek, this may well be your answer.

it appears to have good caffeine content. The astringency is about spot on compared to mixing powdered matcha. The flavor is good.

It still tasted a little bitter to me despite following the directions. I steeped it for only 3 minutes, but it still had a bitter taste. I drank it by itself and didn't add sugar or anything really. I feel it did give me an energy boost I felt great and got a lot of stuff done, but I honestly don't know if maybe it's all in my head. I really do think it works though. Great for an early morning pick-me-up. I would get this again. Definitely like this more than coffee since I am not a coffee drinker to begin with. I will get this again when I run out. I also kind of wish the tea bag had a string..

This Japanese sencha matcha tea is delicious and energizing. I steep a tea bag in 175°F water for about 2 minutes. It has a great flavor and a fresh aroma. It is smooth and delightful to drink. You can serve it over ice for a refreshing taste. It is strongly caffeinated and gives me an energy boost without the usual jitter. Overall, I really like this. Great flavor and nice energy boost. The tea bags and the retail package are eco-friendly as well. For around $1 per tea bag, it is pretty decent value for the money. Good stuff.

This is much better than the Kirkland brand organic green tea with matcha and has more caffeine to boot. Compostable, organic, resealable and tasty. Defiantly worth the price difference.
