Reishi English Breakfast

I’m giving 5 stars because I love these products but I was sent an expired package yesterday. Amazon gave me a refund. But still wanted to let others know just in case.

This is an interesting tea. I like the idea of having the Reishi mushrooms infused in the tea. It's a nice alternative to a 'high-caffeinated' drink. I don't drink coffee, but I drink a lot of tea. This is a nice pick me up. The flavor is a little nutty. It can be pretty strong. I ended up diluting it somewhat because it was quite strong. I can probably brew 2 cups from one bag or brew it in a larger glass. It would also make a nice iced beverage.

Received package on Mar 03, 2023 with an expiration date of Feb 02, 2025. That is almost 2 years of shelf life.Taste and smell like other black tea I have. I do feel awake after drinking the tea. Did not feel tired but not in hyper mood either.The tea bag is about 2 inch. Submerge in hot water is not a problem. No tag or string to "fish" out the tea bag. A spoon will do the trick or just remove it after finish drinking.The hot water turns into rusty color after a while. Not unusual for tea. I drink tea and coffee without adding sugar or milk. So, I know regular tea are blend in taste, so is this one.As for current price of $12.95 for tea bags, it is on a high side. Unable to comment on any health benefits.

Good tasting and energetic

I’m a huge fan of tea that I don’t have to add anything—no honey, no sugar. It just tastes great, and this tea is exactly that. It is absolutely, hands-down delicious for those who enjoy their tea as I call it—pure. There’s nothing more satisfying than being able to enjoy a delicious tea in the morning. I’m an avid coffee drinker, but I’ve always loved tea. The only problem is I never had caffeine; this solves that problem. Thank you so much, Kubo!!!!! You have a fan for life!

Delicious tea. Nice boost of energy without a crash like I usually have with coffee.

I don't like the taste of mushrooms and this tea doesn't have that "earthy" mushroom taste.

Great taste and gives me enough energy for the workday. For extra energy I will seep two bags instead of one. Love that this is more natural than a basic energy drink.

It tastes like weak Brown Rice Tea. I like it. I take a medication that makes me extremely tired. This tea helps me counteract that.

Really enjoy this line of teas. Since I don’t really like coffee but want the caffeine, this tea is perfect! This isn’t my fav flavor from them. It really has no flavor but It’s a great mixer with other more flavorful teas or flavored sweeteners.

This product is high quality and delivered as promised. I have completely replaced energy drinks with Kubo and would encourage others considering the switch to go for it.I do not add sugar or sweeteners and drink as is, the flavor isn’t strong or bad. It’s just like a basic tea flavor but I can tell the caffeine effect is cleaner.I do boil 2 bags because I usually drink one glass all day as needed

Great flavor, in my opinion. Nice black robust flavor. Great energy! Would buy again. 1 bag is good for 7-8oz.

I really love the flavor of this tea, it has a subtle sweetness to it that is so delicious and it complements the earthiness of reishi mushroom! Also I love the added benefits of reishi- know to help boost your immune system! 5 out of 5 stars for me!

Love this tea brand. Was looking for something that had a bit more of a boost in the morning. Packaging on the back can be a bit hard to read because of color and design concepts made with the packaging material. Definitely have this on a subscription!

Love this tea. The taste isn't great because its mushrooms but its doable and its worth it for the energy kick you get.

Good taste, good caffeine high

I can’t say enough about this tea!! The taste is earthy but not too earthy, just the right mix of black tea, green tea and mushroom. I only need one cup to get me going in the morning. Saves me from being late to work (not headed to the coffee shop drive thru) and saves me money. Love this tea! I definitely recommend switching out your morning coffee routine with this tea. You will not be disappointed!!

I’ve been drinking Kubo Tea for a while now, and this reishi blend is legit. Tastes great, keeps me alert, and doesn’t spike or crash like coffee. Just a smooth, steady boost. Honestly, kind of obsessed.

Gave me a great boost of energy, flavor was fantastic!

This tastes similar to black tea, just a little more bitter. I drank it with sugar substitute, stevia and almond milk.

A great alternative to earl grey or those other boring flavors. This tea had a pleasant aroma and flavor and had a healthy amount of morning pick-me-up!

I'm not a huge fan of pre-workout so this tea is perfect to give me an afternoon boost before heading out to the gym of caffeine without a bunch of nasty ingredients. It's easy to brew and tastes really good. Easy to store with a resealable bag keeping the tea fresh.

These tea bags come in an attractively designed kraft paper resealable bag. I love that everything is compostable - the bag and the teabags. The tea itself does not taste like mushrooms. It is a high quality black tea with enough caffeine for this to be my morning wake up tea. To me, this tea tastes like this other caramel tea I used to buy and loved. I like the idea of getting beneficial antioxidants in my morning cup. I think the price of these teabags is reasonable for the tea quality. I will definitely buy this tea again.

I have been drinking this tea in the morning because of the high caffeine content and it feels the same as having a couple of cups of coffee! I love the taste and enjoy the extra boost of energy this tea provides. Great tea!

Nothing gives me sustained energy like this tea! I can focus at my desk all day with no energy crash. This is my first time trying the mushroom flavor and it was really smooth. Tastes like black tea. I’ve been trying to get more daily antioxidants to fight inflammation so I’ll be ordering this regularly.
