Half & Half Iced Tea

My family has tried other kubo teas and was excited to be able to try this one. It’s half black and half green tea with lemongrass for a light lemon flavor. I’m impressed with this brand’s simple ingredients, compostable bag and organic high quality leaves. My family drinks a lot of teas in the winter and this is usually what I pay for a good quality tea. It does offer a good flavor, caffeine boost with calming green tea and a smooth flavor that needs no sweetness. 5 stars and highly recommend this tea and this brand.

This 1/2 & 1/2 lemon -iced tea is my favorite flavor from this brand so far. I love lemon & ice tea; it is light, easy to drink, & super energizing. I tried it warm, and it was amusing because my brain & senses have only experienced these flavors cold! Still good though. If you drink hot toddies when you are sick, this would be a great base! Do not drink at night though, no chance of sleep. The strength of caffeine is powerful with no crash.The tea ingredients are all certified organic by Oregon Tilth. The tea bags are plastic-free and made from a plant-based non-GMO starch bio mesh. The strings are natural cotton with unbleached paper tags so you can drink this daily without worrying about filling up with microplastics. The pouch is also certified compostable!

This is a nice blend. The flavor notes are lemon, hibiscus, blackberry, rose, apple with a subtle note of green tea. This is good both hot and cold. I generally ice fruity teas for a delicious and refreshing summer tea. I like that it is USDA organic and free from any undesirable additives or preservatives. This is a nice balanced blend good hot or cold.

The product page promised a high energy drink. I saw a refreshing ice tea with good blending.We got it and tried the Hot Brew, showing how little patience we have with something new.Following the instructions we brewed the tea, then slip into two small glasses for our 5 o’clock tea party. We identified the lemongrass, the berries, and a hint of hibiscus. The black tea was perfect, no astringent taste, very smooth. As we never drink our teas with sweeteners, it was quite amazing to get this cold drink which has enough sweetness to be enjoyed as is.I think that anyone who wants some cold drink in the summer, and get the same caffeine as in a cup of Java, can give this tea a try. They’ll enjoy for sure. Of course, if you add sweetener to your tea, please do the same for this tea. It is not super sweet on its own.

Love this brand and their teas!!This has always been one of my favorites and one that I buy over and over. Easy to brew, and such a smooth and great taste. Not too strong, not too light. Smells just as good as it tastes. Great citrus flavor that goes along with the classic tea flavor - tastes like tea with lemon!Love the caffeine boost from this tea - so much smoother than coffee or energy drinks. Always fresh out of the zippy bag - stays tasty for months. Great value for the money - great brand and great products.

Omg...this iced tea is delightful! The half and half lemonade flavor is fantastic, and very reminiscent of an Arnold Palmer. The lemonade gives it a bright citrusy kick while the black tea keeps it from becoming just another lemony drink. The combination is super refreshing, flavorful, and particularly good over a lot of ice! I add honey to the tea while it's steeping, which works well for me.I also LOVE that it has a substantial caffeine kick without tasting aggressively caffeinated. I love having tea, but sometimes, I'm looking for more of a caffeine kick more aligned with coffee. The strength of this tea solves that problem! It's become a very satisfying and energizing morning pick-me-up when I want something cold and flavorful.Overall, this tea tastes super fresh and refreshing, and is a terrific value, IMO. I would 100% order it again, and even try different flavors. I'm a new fan! Highly recommended.

This is objectively one of the best teas I have ever had. I usually reach for Yogi Sweet Tangerine Positive Energy to get my daily caffeine, and I typically have to steep two bags to hit my 150mg limit. This specific amount is my personal sweet spot because anything more causes me significant digestive discomfort and unwanted anxiety. After trying this new option, I am fairly certain I have found my new go-to daily beverage. The level of caffeine in just one single bag feels like it hits that perfect 155mg mark without fail. It is incredibly rare to find a blend that packs this much punch while remaining this smooth on the palate. I have struggled for a long time to find high-caffeine varieties that do not leave me feeling jittery or overwhelmed. Every sip provides a clean energy boost that lasts throughout my entire morning. Zest Tea had been my second choice for a while, but this recent discovery is superior in both taste and overall effect. Tastes good

Love the energy. Its like your motor is ready to go. I have never been jittery or off feeling with this tea. I feel like it keeps me moving forward the entire morning. No issues with crashing and no problems sleeping at the end of the day. I have told many of my coworkers about Kubo. Especially the non coffee drinkers. And the taste is good. Not overbearing.

I will definitely be buying this product again. I bought another flavor and once I ran out of it, I immediately went to buy A new flavor to try it out. Definitely don’t be expecting anything overly sweet, because they are teas not juices, But you can always add honey. They are fantastic and don’t give the usual caffeine crash.

I am a huge tea drinker and I absolutely would rank this flavor in my top 5!!!Will definitely buy again.

I needed something to replace my morning coffee, and this really helps out!

So I don't always leave reviews.. and I will admit I was unsure whether or not I would like it based off of other reviews.. But it's good. I'm the kind of person that usually puts a lot of sugar in teas but between drinking tea and energy drinks I've open gaming weight... So I wanted to find something where I didn't need to add sugar and wasn't as bad as energy drinks. I can't drink coffee because it makes me sick so I figured what the heck I would try this.Y'all... it didn't need sugar at all. I did the hot brew and threw it over some ice and now I'm caffienated and happy. I told my partner and he was shocked because normally he gets grossed out by how sweet I like everything and even he liked it. I'm about to order another bag or 2 so I am stocked up... and this is only after using 2 satchels.Probably going to try the Raspberry too but big fan of the Lemonade/Tea (btw... doesn't taste like Lemonade... but it does have a lemon flavor)

Better than any coffee this tea is the real deal

I'm a big fan of unsweetened ice tea (I've drunk my fair share of Tejava), so it's nice for those warmer days to now have iced tea with that added caffeine kick for the days I need it. Plus, I love the Kubo brand because this is organic tea with no artificial sweeteners! The half and half has a hint of lemon that is light & refreshing.I tried making it both ways: hot and cold brew. I preferred using the latter method; it's easy to just stick it in the fridge before bed so the flavors come out crisper. Will definitely try the raspberry flavor next. :)

My wife and I love tea and drink it throughout the day from a morning hot cup to iced tea mid-day.We generally do not like fruit-infused teas, but this one surprised us! It's got a great raspberry flavor without an artificial after-taste. Obviously, such reviews are quite personal. One person's wonderful blend is another person's bad tea. But, as lifelong tea lovers, we're now converted to this brand. We should also note that we don't like sweeteners in our tea and this blend has a slight natural sweetness that's OK with us. So, this tea passed multiple steps to win our household's 5 stars.Like many tea lovers, we played with the brewing process to reach our ideal.We start by brewing and steeping the tea in fairly good-sized coffee mugs. And, yes, we realize this is our version of brewing, not what is recommended by the company.Then, we like a bold tea, so we let the cups with the tea packets come down to room temperature.Then, we place them in the 'fridge for several hours.We set up tumblers with ice cubes and add the tea. It melts a bit of the ice, but not much and we get the bold iced-tea brew we prefer.May not be your cup of tea, as we say, but it's definitely ours.This system is great for us, because we're brewing hot tea morning, then drinking our first glass of iced tea at lunch. So while the pot of water is hot in the morning, we start this process and it's ready by noon.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this tea! perfect for the summer, tastes great whether hot or cold, and most important of all NO STEVIA OR ARTIFICIAL SUGAR TASTE! my biggest peeve with most ice teas are either they're too sweet with real cane sugar, or taste disgusting with stevia/artificial sugar. this is almost all natural in tea leaves and dried fruit form, tastes wonderful and all natural!

I like the taste of this lemonade tea. It is not sweet rather it has a great mix of lemongrass, blackberry and Hibiscus. I used the hot brew preperation. I poured the hot water over the tea bag and let it sit for 5 minutes then poured my cup of tea over ice cubes. The caffeine level is very high so I like to drink it before a big hike or a workout at the gym. It makes a really nice preworkout!
